About Rose Mays - New Homes Division Manager
I moved to Tampa in 1974 from a small town in western Pennsylvania near Pittsburgh called Freedom in Beaver County. I began my real estate career as an office manager/accountant for Realty Exchange, Inc., a commercial real estate firm. I obtained by Florida real estate license in 1979 and entered the residential real estate market full time in 1992 as a buyer's agent specializing in new homes at New Homes America. I now represent buyers and sellers and service more than four counties throughout the Tampa Bay area (Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Hernando, northern Manatee and eastern Polk).
I strive to help buyers and sellers by saving them time, avoiding confusion and making their experience an enjoyable one! I will invest my time to provide enthusiastic, knowledgeable and conscientious service and will follow through to ensure their satisfaction.
My husband, Gary Mays, and I have been happily married for more than 40 years and work together as a "team" in residential sales. We have two married, adult sons who graduated from the University of Florida that live and have successful careers in the Tampa Bay area. We were blessed with our first granddaughter in 2012 and currently have eight grandchildren, 5 boys and 3 girls. Besides our real estate career, they keep our lives very busy!
I am currently an active member of the Sales & Marketing Council of the TBBA (Tampa Bay Builders Association) where I have received the award of 'outstanding real estate agent' several times as recognition of my contribution to the new home industry. I am also a member of GTAR (Greater Tampa Association of Realtors) and NAR (National Association of Realtors).
